Extension and renovation of a waterside mill cottage in Butley, Suffolk.  A simple, carefully proportioned, timber lined extension was added at ground level of this small cottage.  A relatively small move transformed the house as the new space opened up the existing house and made connections to the garden and landscape beyond.
